Looking up in the Swift Rapids LockLat 44 46 31; Long 79 21 10; Fuel 126, Eng 1002
Left the lock and moved through Sparrow Lake, past Swift Rapids which is has a really big drop, past Severn Falls and arrived at the Big Chute which is another experience in itself as you ride the railway across the road and down to the water about 100 feet below. Great ride and a beautiful view. We decided to stay below big Chute at their docks for the night. The Chute operators know what they are doing as they load the boats.
