Well we left on the next part of our traveling journey today at 11:00 am. Traveling across Canada by car, first to see our son Alex and his partner Jill in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and then from there to Victoria BC to see Brenda's mother Carol. We followed Highway 11 to North Bay. The trees are just starting to turn colour and the further we go north the more trees that have turned. Stopped at Weber's for lunch - regular thing that is done when traveling north or south on Highway 11. We also stopped in Burke's Falls for a Tim's coffee. One thing about driving in Canada - you can always find a Tim's, something that we could not do on our boat trip, although I did have some big cans of Tim Horton's coffee on board. Stopped in North Bay for the night at the local Travel Lodge. We are going to try and find accommodations that serve breakfast as much as possible. Try and keep the nightly charge below $100. This would be easy in the US but in Canada we do get a little ripped off because anything less than $100/night sometimes is iffy.
